2021 Indoor Winds

Great news, everyone!

We WILL be fielding an indoor winds group this year, but this one will be unlike any we've had here before.  It will include ALL 9th-11th grade wind players currently in our band, as well as ALL 8th graders from Kerr and STEAM/REALM too!

Not only that, but current seniors have 3 options:
1. They can perform in the group like normal.
2. They can serve as a marching tech (unpaid, sorry)
3. Opt out altogether.

There will be NO COST for this season.  We will use props we already have, and wear our marching uniforms.

Beginning on 1/19, our rehearsal Schedule will be Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5-7PM with 3 additional drill-learning Saturday rehearsals on 1/30, 2/20, and 3/20 from 9AM-1:30PM.  There will also be some class time dedicated to this project.

As we look to improve on our 5th place finish at the UIL 5A State Marching Contest last time around, rehearsing and performing this show will ensure that we put ourselves in the best possible position to succeed.  We will be passing out music soon, and look forward to getting started!

Parent performance the evening of Thursday April 8, 2021.

PAY BAND FEES ONLINE - PAST DUE

It's important to stay on track with the band fees. We purchase a lot of items for the students & pay for marching techs, colorguard techs, percussion techs, & masterclass teachers.

That's all for now!
