Our final concert of the 2020-2021 season. Come join us and listen to the music we have been preparing for 2.5 months for the UIL concert and sight-reading contest. In addition to the UIL program, select chamber ensembles will play their literature they have been preparing for the BISD solo and ensemble contest on May 17th. Come join us and listen to the Sweepstakes CHS Band.

Move Equipment (tarp, chairs, & stands) 4:30pm; Arrive in concert black by 6:00pm; In Chair 6:10pm; Warm-up 6:15pm; House Opens 6:50pm; Performance 7pm

Concert Dress

  • GentlemenAll black semi formal (long sleeve collared shirts (no polos), black pants (no jeans), black belt, black socks, and black dress shoes.
  • LadiesBlack dress (floor length) & black dress shoes or black blouse, black pants, and black closed toe flats.


Leadership Information and Interview Times

Drum Major Auditions

Senior Scholarship Applications - Due May 7th

2021 Solo and Ensemble

  • Letter Jacket requirement

  • UPDATE - Entry Fee DUE April 1st - I'll let you know when payments can be made online

Our BISD Solo and Ensemble contest will be Mon, May 17th at Centennial HS.  All wind & percussion players are required to perform at least a solo. Students who take private lessons should work with their teacher to pick out a solo appropriate for them. Seniors who perform a Class 1 solo and earn a division one rating at the contest have the opportunity to compete for Scholarship Money. (Senior Recital Wed, May 19th)

  • Payment is made in CutTime


Band Class Passoff Schedule - TEST GRADES

Passoff assignments are TEST grades. Students may retest to receive up to full credit, but students must retest before the end of the 6 weeks.

1st Annual Band Golf Tournament - May 1st

Location:  Hidden Creek Golf Course

Pay Band Fees Online - All Fees PAST DUE


It's important to stay on track with the band fees.  We purchase a lot of items for the students & pay for marching techs, colorguard techs, percussion techs, & masterclass teachers.  Most of the money is spent in August. If you need a different financial arrangement than the $100 per month please email Mr. Klein.  Please make your payments online in Cut Time with a debit/credit card.**You MUST create a username & password first**
