Solo and Ensemble Contest - FINAL INSTRUCTIONS


Here is what you need to know:
  1. Dress for success! Dress clothes should be school appropriate. 
  2. Arrive 10-15min before your time. 
  3. Warm-up in the Band Hall
  4. Perform - We are all rooting for you!
  5. Pickup comment sheets (patch - if earned) in band hall
Virtual Students:
  1. Be ready at your time listed on schedule
  2. Mr. Falls will admit you in the room.
  3. Comment sheets will be emailed to you. (Patch can be picked up in band hall if earned)

Brass Instruments Cleaning

  • On Sunday, May 23rd (11am to 3pm) Mr. Kevin Fallon will be joining us to show us how to clean our brass inventory. All future band directors or enthusiast welcome.  See Mr. Klein's email for sign-up link.

  • It's time to register to be a part of the 2021-2022 Spartan Regiment! The information provided in this form is then put into our CutTime system to communicate Regiment Updates, pay band fees, process instrument check-outs, T-shirt sizes, uniform sizes...etc. 

IMPORTANT - we will import NEW member information in CutTime
  • You will receive an email to create your own username and password. Please don't sign-up through their website, it can create a duplicate account.

Saturday, June 5 - CHS Band Registration 9am-4pm

  • ANY OUTSTANDING FEES MUST BE PAID AT THIS TIME.  Please check CutTime.
  • Masks are required indoors
  • Please try to attend during your time slot, however if you have an unavoidable conflict you may come at an earlier time.

  • 9am - Seniors

  • 10am - Juniors

  • 11am - Sophomores A-M

  • Noon - LUNCH BREAK no registrations

  • 1pm - Sophomores N-Z

  • 2pm - Freshman A-M

  • 3pm - Freshman N-Z

1st $125 Band Fee payment due (to CHS Band Boosters)

School Instrument Checkout - $75 to CHS Band

June Camp!  Monday - Friday, June 7th - June 11th

  • 8am-5pm (lunch 11:30am-1pm); can leave or bring a lunch

UIL Physical DUE AUGUS 1st!

  • UIL is requiring all marching band students to get a physical. 
  • All Marching Band members NEED a Physical on file with Mr. Klein by AUGUST 1st..

July Band Camp (ONLY Guard & Percussion) (Lunch 11:30am to 1pm)

  • Monday, July 19th through Friday, July 23rd 8am to 5pm


August Band Camp (Lunch 11:30am to 1pm)

  • Monday, July 26 through Friday, July 30th 8am to 5pm
  • Monday, August 2 through Friday, August 6th 8am to 5pm
  • Monday, August 9 through Friday, August 13th 8am to 5pm
  • Monday, August 16 through Tuesday, August 17th 8am to 5pm



Band Class Passoff Schedule - TEST GRADES

Passoff assignments are TEST grades. Students may retest to receive up to full credit, but students must retest before the end of the 6 weeks.

6th 6 Weeks Supply Check - Wednesday, April 28th

Supply Checks are pass or fail, so if you are missing 1 item it is a zero.  Students can bring items later for full credit before the end of the six weeks grading period. We do have supplies available for purchase in the band office (please have exact change).


1st Annual Band Golf Tournament - May 22nd

Location:  Hidden Creek Golf Course

Pay Band Fees Online - All Fees PAST DUE


It's important to stay on track with the band fees.  We purchase a lot of items for the students & pay for marching techs, colorguard techs, percussion techs, & masterclass teachers.  Most of the money is spent in August. If you need a different financial arrangement than the $100 per month please email Mr. Klein.  Please make your payments online in Cut Time with a debit/credit card.**You MUST create a username & password first**
